At OPPO Mobiles India Private Limited (Oppo India), we recognise that our responsibility does not end once products are sold to the consumers but it also include their safe disposal in environment friendly manner. Following this philosophy and in compliance with the E-Waste (Management and Handling) Rules 2016, we have developed a procedure for collecting and proper recycling of e-waste.

As a part of this initiative, we have developed a pan-India collection mechanism along with our Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs). These PROs have been given a clear mandate to collect e-waste from respective states as per applicable processes and to channel it to authorised dismantlers and recyclers for environmentally sound recycling as required by the Rules.
