MCAG (Centrale District Council of SIAG /AGI)
Mount Carmel Assembly of God (MCAG) comes under the umbrella of the Assemblies of God (AG) organization. There are around 70 million Assemblies of God members worldwide, making the Assemblies of God the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination.
Rev. P K JOHNSON along with his family is ministering in MCAG from 18th February 2007. Pastor P.K. Johnson started his first service on 18th February, 2007 with just 17 people but God has been blessing the Church many folds and today it is one of the growing churches in the city of Bangalore.
We have a diverse congregation and have Malayalam,Tamil,Kannada, Telugu,Hindi and English speaking members besides international students and families.
The purpose of Mount Carmel Assembly of God Church is to pursue the fulfilment of the Lord’s command to evangelize and reach the lost and perishing, providing them the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel in its fullness, by encouraging and assisting one another, promoting harmonious relationships, and seeking the most effective means of its accomplishment under the dynamic leadership of the Holy Spirit.
With a strong ministerial team, Pastor along with various department heads and with complete support from members of the church are working passionately to help in carrying the vision of this growing Ministry.
The Church now conducts 4 services on Sundays: English Service at 7:30 am, Tamil Service at9:00 am, Malayalam Service at 10:30 am, Kannada Service at 12:30 pm.Children’s Church at 9am.
Besides Sunday services, MCAG has several otherservices during the week i.e. Intercessory Prayer, Men’s Prayer Fellowships (MPF), Women’sMission Councils (WMC), Friday Fasting prayer, Saturday Bible Study, C.A. (ChristAmbassadors) Meetings, Monthly fasting prayer, Cottage meetings etc.
