Rubber Sheets are mainly used in Industrial premises & in machines as gaskets, anti-skid floor matting, anti-vibration mounts, heat, Oil & temperature resistant pads, electrical Insulation etc. The basic raw material for our Industry is raw rubber, which can be Natural or Synthetic. Natural rubber is extracted from special plants, whereas Synthetic rubbers petroleum byproducts Most of the Rubbers when heated in the presence of Sulphur along with additives, accelerators, Fillers, plasticizers & Chemicals such as TMT, MBTS, zinc oxide, becomes hard as well as more elastic and durable this process is called curing of Rubber or Vulcanization. This improves hardness, tensile & tear strength, elasticity, compressibility, abrasion resistivity and resistance towards solvents & Petroleum products. Synthetic Substitutes have elastic properties similar to Natural Rubber, apart from one or more special property depending on the type of Synthetic elastomer used for e.g Silicone is resistant to extreme high & very low temperature, EPDm is impermeable to fluid & gases, Nitrile doesn’t decay in petrochemicals, Neoprene resistant to Acid &Alkalis.
