• Hi-Tech Flake Ice Maker is a vertical, double-walled, cylindrical evaporator
• The cylinder remains stationary, while the internal rotor, water rings and drip shield revolve
• Water Is pumped into the top of the rotor and distributed through the water rings on to inner freezing surface in a continuous curtain
• A high velocity, low temperature refrigerant contained between the cylinder''s walls freezes the water almost Immediately
• The rotor arm carries a set of stainless steel ice removal tools
• Ice is sub cooled in the drying arc and then the tools shear the ice from the freezing surface without touching the wall
• The Ice falls out the bottom of the ice maker in to the storage bin
