Dr. HITESH DOSHI Chairman & Managing Director Mr. Hitesh Doshi, Chairman & Managing Director, WAAREE Group has over 25 years of experience in the engineering industry. He started his career in 1989 soon after his graduation by establishing a hardware process control instrument trading company and moved in manufacturing of process control instruments, gas station equipments and industrial valves. Under his leadership WAAREE has received various recognition award and accolades, he formed WAAREE Energies Ltd. in 2007 initiating its foray in Renewable Energy and has taken several initiatives to accelerate the company's top-line and bottom-line growth. His vision and strategic business leadership are instrumental in establishing WAAREE Energies in a leadership position in the solar industry. He looks after the overall business strategy of the Company and International Business Development coupled with expansion projects of the Company.
HITESH MEHTA Director - Finance & CFO Mr. Hitesh Mehta is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having over 20 years of experience in the field of finance. He has adverse portfolio covering strategic finance, corporate structuring, operational finance, tax planning, audit, treasury and expansion of the WAAREE Group. He spearheads all key initiatives in relation to fund raising, M&A and JV's whilst strengthening credibility and reputation of the Company.Over the years he has successfully built the business from its inception assembling a team of professionals, establishing revenue lines and building the asset base. VIREN DOSHI Director Mr.Viren Doshi, plays a key role in Project acquisition, development & execution activities of projects.He has been in the past actively involved in the sales strategies for WAAREE group of companies. His expertise lies in project management of WAAREE solar power projects, and has also setup sales & marketing functions to align with engineering & logistics to support rapid growth. He has a proven track record in cost, productivity and quality improvement and a broad cross-functional experience. He has vast experience in Partner & Channel development and has played a major role in building a strong distribution network for WAAREE group companies. R. M. MALLA Independent Director Shri R.M. Malla is a Chairman & Managing Director of IDBI Bank Ltd. Prior to taking up his current assignment Shri Malla was Chairman & Managing Director of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Shri Malla is an M.Com with an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi and is also a Certificated Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. Starting his professional career as a Probationary Officer in Syndicate Bank in 1975, he joined as a middle Management Executive in the erstwhile Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) in 1979. He has wide experience in both project finance and resource management related areas while working at the erstwhile Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) in various capacities before moving on to IFCI as its Executive Director and subsequently became its CEO. Shri Malla led the Top Management Team of the company, which helped script a turnaround story for IFCI from a serious liquidity and solvency crisis to an institution with comfortable liquidity position and strong financial fundamentals. Simultaneously he became Executive Director of IDBI, while continuing on deputation as the CEO of IFCI. SAMIR SHAH Independent Director Mr. Samir Shah is qualified as a Chartered Accountant and lawyer (India) and as a MBA (Wharton). He has had a career in financial markets in New York and Hong Kong for the last 26 years with Deutsche Bank, Salomon Brothers and Goldman Sachs prior to forming his investment firm. He has been an investor in global financial markets and experienced in managing risk at these institutions. In the past few years, investments have included water management and renewable energy companies. Since last year, he spends most of his time in India. At Waaree, he is involved in financial and strategy decisions. JAYESH DHIRAJLAL SHAH Independent Director He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Partner in J D Shah Associate (Practicing Chartered Accountant Firm) with a vast experience of over 30 years in the field of Taxation, Audit, Project Finance and Compliance services. BINITA DOSHI Non- Executive Director She holds Bachelor in Commerce degree with a rich experience of 10 years in administration field. She is a member of Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Company. She is also an active member of Jain Education and Empowerment Trust (JEET) and Jain International and Trade Organisation (JITO). MODESTO VOLPE Non- Executive Director A business development professional, he has completed his Scientific High School Diploma. He has an experience with a demonstrated history of working in telecommunication Industry. He is highly skilled in negotiation, Management, Renewable Energy, Marketing Strategy and Business Strategy
