Composite Insulators Composite Insulators often known as polymer insulators are made from silicon rubber. They have advantage over conventional porcelain insulators. They are non-fragile, non-corrosive and non-conductive. They have longer life and are maintenance free. Composite insulators are available as pin, suspension and post insulators for isolators.

Disc Insulators are used for stringing overhead lines & to insulate the poles. Tension load of the line varies and hence disc insulators are available in 45 KN, 70 KN, 90 KN & 120 KN. Fittings of disc insulator are available in two types: Ball & Socket type Tongue & Clavis

Lightening Arresters are often known as " Surge Arresters ". Electrical surge arresters are used to prevent the buildings from natural lightening during the rain. Lightening Arresters are available from ratings of 9 KV onwards. Lightening Arresters are available in Distribution Class as well as Station Class with Porcelain or Polymer Housing.

Pin Insulators are available in ratings of 11/22/33 KV. Mechanical load of pin insulators is 5 KN or 10 KN. These are installed o top of poles in order to insulate them. These insulators are efficient in resisting the current flow.

Post Insulators are used to make isolators, drop out fuse & also to insulate the sub-station structure as bus post. Fittings of Post Insulator are from Malleable Cast Iron.
