Thanks to its two research centres in Legnago (Verona) and Cormano (Milan), world-class examples of excellence for the design, development and testing of uninterruptible power supplies, Riello UPS can constantly innovate its product portfolio, keeping it at the top in terms of performance, reliability and competitiveness. In addition, Riello UPS often provides ad hoc solutions in the event of large tenders or commissions. These solutions are based on the specifications provided, demonstrating the company's attention to customer needs. Riello UPS designs and manufactures its UPS in Italy. Enhanced efficiency targets for power ranges from 300 VA to >200 kVA, from 25% to 100% loads. Riello UPS is also the first European Manufacturer to identify its products in terms of ECO energy efficiency ratings.

Riello UPS, a brand of the Riello Elettronica group, one of the top five companies in the world for manufacture, sales and assistance of uninterruptible power supplies and a committed advocate of green energy solutions, is Audi’s partner in the FIA Formula E Championship for electric cars, for the third season!
Electricity, technology, innovation and above all “green” will be the keywords of the Riello UPS commitment to Formula E, which will carry the logo of this Italian company around the most beautiful cities in the world. In Italy, the race will take place on the EUR circuit in Rome.

Technology and R&D
INNOVATION IS THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTRES
The RIELLO UPS Research Centre, opened in 2003 at the Legnago site, is divided into three distinct areas to support an intensive development program:
- Design area - where new UPS products are initiated and designed;
- Experimental area - where laboratories with sophisticated test and measuring equipment are used to test prototypes and analyse results;
- Test area - where accelerated life tests are conducted inside temperature controlled environments with actual real -world loads.
