Poona Switchgears Pvt. Ltd (formerly known as M/s. V.M. Engineering Company Pvt. Ltd.) was established in 1977 by our late founder Mr. P.D. Taskar, and is currently led by our Director, Mr. Ganesh Taklikar with an astonishing experience in this field of 36 years.

We are engaged in designing and manufacturing of medium voltage switchgears and panels and are certified OEM system house for ABB. We are self-reliant company where every electrical switchgear & control panel are indigenously created, designed, manufactured and supplied.

We are pioneers in manufacturing MV Isolators, SFU and RMU, VCB Panels, HT Switchgear - ( 3.3kV – 33kV ) and its associated panels since 1977.
Our products are tested at CPRI and are approved with MSEDCL, PWD, MJP, MIDC, MKVDC and various other Infra projects
