VANDAN ALLOYS offers a wide range to our clients with Alloy 20 Bolts, which is not a stainless steel but a nickel alloy. Alloy 20 Bolts has good mechanical properties at both ambient and elevated temperatures, and so is further used for acid cleaning and pickling equipment and synthetic rubber manufacturing equipment. Annealing of Alloy 20 Bolts should be between 1725 Degree F and 1850 Degree F for 30 minutes at temperature per inch of thickness. Alloy 20 Bolts can normally be press brake bent over a radius twice the materials thickness, where after cold reductions of more than 15 %, a final stabilizing annealing is often required. Alloy 20 Bolts can be fabricated to produce: Pickling Equipment, Heat Exchangers, Mixing Tanks, Process Piping, Pumps, valves, fasteners, and fittings. Carpenter 20 Bolts is also used in Sulfuric acid pickling tanks, racks and heating coils, Heat exchanger, Phosphate coating drums and racks, etc. UNS N08020 Bolts can be successfully cold formed using all common practices, where its elevated strength may require higher forming pressures.
