Oral edible strip disintegration property is based on the polymers used. The film disintegrates rapidly within seconds in contact with water or saliva, releases the drug in the mouth and promotes gastrointestinal absorption.
It consists of a set of roller arrangements for holding and smooth movement of the base film and cast film.
