The tightness of warehouses and refrigerating chambers with a controlled atmosphere, RGS, is an important condition for the preservation of fruit and vegetable products. New technologies help to save fruits, vegetables and berries.

According to the magazine "Refrigeration", the loss of fruits, vegetables and berries in Russia is from 30 to 40%. Most of the losses in the cold chain of supply of fruits and vegetables occur during the storage period.

For the construction of sealed warehouses and refrigerating chambers with RGS "ProfHolod" offers modern sandwich panels made of fire-resistant PIR Premier polyisocyanurate foam and PUR Сlassic polyurethane foam, sealed sliding doors  80 mm thick.

Primary tightness of warehouses with RGS made of ProfHolod sandwich panels prior to the use of sealants and other necessary materials for complete sealing of the premises is achieved thanks to the unique configuration “thorn-groove” lock.

The ProfHoloda lock provides:

• maximum thermal and waterproofing of the sandwich panel joints, which is confirmed by the certificate for air and vapor tightness
• rigid foam connection of panels thanks to conical chambers
• minimum consumption of polyurethane foam when joining panels
• the deepest joint on the foam - 20 mm

Depending on the thickness of the wall panels, the tongue-and-groove lock can be single, double or triple.
